Felicity Inns

Research interests: symbolism; identity, nationalism, remembrance; citizenship; memory.

Biography: Felicity Inns was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and majored in environmental science and anthropology, obtaining her research master’s degree in Social Anthropology focusing on Internationalisation in Higher Education at the University of Cape Town. Felicity is the Academic Director at the Council of International Educational Exchange in London and also teaches Intercultural Communication and Personal Leadership in addition to managing academic quality of the study abroad programmes in London through CIEE. Felicity is pursuing her PhD in Anthropology at the University of Roehampton and researching the Poppy and its Partnerships: The Royal Navy, The Royal British Legion and Society.
