Dear world,

My name is Alexandra David-Neel and I am about to set on a quest into Lhasa, the forbidden capital of Tibet.

I was born in Paris on the 24th October 1868 and was brought up with strict parents. Back when I was a child I loved to read science fiction books about Jules Verne. The stories were all about freedom and adventure which encouraged me to run away from home at the age of five. I continued to read and study throughout my childhood and during my teens. Throughout growing up I have always had a sense of wanting more and knocking down barriers to reach further destinations.

I have travelled to different countries in my years. However, now I want to conquer somewhere amazing like Tibet. I am ready for my journey and I am prepared for the hurdles as well as amazing experiences on the way.
