Today we looked at the programme overview and the requirement of an apprenticeship which provides all the necessary information about the trainees nursing associate course as well as the main requirement that needed to be met to qualify as nursing associate. We also looked at the importance of time management, adult learning, and code. We also learnt the importance of reflection in nursing in general. We learnt how to use Moodle so that we can access all the course information and materials.
Everything that I learnt, will provide the foundation required to practice as nursing associate and it will enable me to better understand the importance of self-reflection. We discussed the importance of reflection and process that assist you to review a personal experience and then learn from it. Reflecting of what you have leant vital for self-improvement as it can build my confident to become more competence which will enable me to provide high standard of to the patients.

K1: Understand the Code: Professional standards of practice and behaviour for nurses, midwives, and nursing associates (NMC, 2018), and how to fulfil all registration requirements.
