day 1 to 3

day 1 – it was a slow start to the day I was given keys that mostly team leaders receive however because I was going to need access to different spaces at different times I would need the and introduced to the people I would be working with I then helped organise some of the thing that we would be using on at the off site community outreach space which I will refer to as art-block.

day 2 I started my day at art block organising the art supply room which children are allowed to enter and take any supplies that they need I need to make a list of the basic thing that we where missing and then in the afternoon at the beginning or at any time ask some of the children what material they would like. most of the request where for more wood. more balls, fabric, rope and many more.
question: that came to mind during this session as it was a quite day because school had just started and the shop was closed for the holiday is this place open enough?

day 3 workshops: Artist came in and talked about patriotism – belonging – do the children feel they belong in this country – they did this through looking at national anthem and writing their own national anthem. Played a game – would you rather? Made their own flags. Artist went to school to finish off the workshops.

Children started to talk about whether they ‘belong’ and would they stay if they had the opportunity to go somewhere else. Do they feel accepted.
