Elective placement Practice supervisor feedback

Nelly has shown exceptional adaptability and resilience during her first week of placement at the community health centre. Her ability to navigate language barriers using non-verbal communication skills, along with her proactive engagement in health checks and educational sessions shows her commitment and resourcefulness. Nellys’ reflection shows a good understanding of the cultural and practical differences in healthcare delivery and her experience will enhance her future nursing practice. Her contribution to the team and the community has been important and I am confident that these skills will greatly benefit her nursing career.

It was truly a delight working with Nelly on the infectious disease ward. Right from my first day of placement, she was incredibly supportive, making me feel at ease. Nelly consistently approached her tasks with confidence and handled patients with a smile, showing respect to all. Her commitment to patient care was evident, and her strict observance of infection control protocols was very good.

Her openness to learning were inspiring. One suggestion for further growth is to embrace decision-making with the same confidence she applies to her tasks. With more experience, I have no doubt this will develop naturally. Great job, Nelly and thank you for your support
