Modelling the Tin Tin moon rocket
3D animation is the art of using motion to bring characters, objects and scenery to life for use in TV shows, films, games, advertisements and more (Fitzgerald, 2018).
I used modeling techniques including the extrude, edge loop, multi-cut and target weld tools to create the TinTin moon rocket. There were benefits to this trial and error approach and even though this was my first attempt at using Maya, I quickly became used to the basic features of the UI and learned how to move through functions quicker with the aid of shortcuts.
