Building on your Success
How have I developed over the last year?
(Consider challenges you might have experienced, whether expected or unexpected, learning gained and experiences you’ve had.) |
This year, I have developed quite more than I expected. I have been through placements which gave me valuable experiences and life lessons that I will bring until I grow old. One of those lessons would be to give every moment your best in order to regret less or even better, none. The experiences I had in my first and second placements allowed me to not only learn these lessons but also helped me grow and mature as an individual. My outlook in life has changed and became much more health conscious than before. My nursing career also helped me become more confident and outspoken. It enabled me to participate in different groups that I would never have joined before. This allowed me to practice my communication skills further and hopefully I can continue developing it.
This year was very fruitful and fulfilling. I am very thankful to all the challenges I have faced which I mentioned in my reflections as well as the unexpected award I was given from my first placement. This has made me become much more grounded and appreciative of what others, especially my mentors, supervisors and tutors are teaching us. This year has been amazing and its all thanks to the wonderful professionals I have been with. |
What am I looking forward to in the next year?
(Consider general and specific areas) |
For next year, I am looking forward to new experiences that will challenge my individuality. Placements in areas that I have never been and new information and knowledge that I will learn. |
What am I hoping to achieve over the next year?
(Think about measurable goals) |
For next year, I am hoping to become much more competent as a student nurse in terms of knowledge in disorders and medicine.
I would also like to have more connections in the nursing field to help me in my future careers and also participate in more groups/seminars promoting different causes. |
