Title of Learning Activity: SWOT Analysis and SMART Objectives

In our lesson this afternoon we covered Swot analysis and Smart objective, both of which are useful tools to understand more effectively my professional development.

SWOT analysis help me because it made me look at my strengths, my ability to work well with my patients, weaknesses, and threats. it also opened my eyes to opportunities to grow like potential challenges and threats such as heavy workload affecting my studies.

Strength – what advantage i  have

Weaknesses – what areas i can improve

Opportunities – factors that can me grow

Threats – things that could negatively impact me

I also learned about the importance of SMART stand for Specific, measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time bound. this method makes my goals easier to measure and achieve. the Smart analysis taught me how to improve my skills  like improve my time management by properly adjusting my daily schedule and adapt study habits by revising over the work i have done.

Specific –  focus on study schedule

Measurable – follow the schedule each week

Achievable – make a schedule and follow it for a month

Relevant – time management is important

Time bound – set clear deadline for one month to see progress

both tools are important for my progress in my Nursing Associate career.
