Title of Learning Activity: NMC Code 2018 Values and its Mission and Purpose of NMC.

This morning lessons we learned about the NMC code 2018 and its importance in guiding nursing practice the NMC code sets the values and standards that nurses, midwives and nursing associates must follow these values include treating people with respect, promoting dignity and providing high quality care, knowing these values help me see the importance of putting patient first.

we also learned about mission of the NMC which is to protect the public by ensuring that those working in healthcare are qualified and uphold professional standards. the mission is essential to maintaining trust between healthcare and professional and the public ensuring safe and effective care.

and part of the lesson we learned the role of NMC in promoting values which include respect the culture and beliefs, treat everyone equally, respect and listen to others opinion, understand right and wrong, we are special, and understand consequences of our action.

this made me realize the broader responsibility healthcare workers have in not only caring patients but also promoting fairness and respect for everyone in community.
