Reflection on Learning Activity (include model of reflection e.g. Driscoll or Gibbs):
At the beginning of the day, we met our teacher – Colin Rowe and we were getting to know each other by short, basic presentation of each person attending NA Programme September 2024. We were filling the necessary forms.
Introduction to the NA Programme and Apprenticeship requirements at Roehampton University has been made.
We have been introduced to the student’s platform called Moodle and E – portfolio.
We were discussing Ground Rules for adult learning and managing time.
We established relevant quote ” Work hard, play hard, play fair”
We defined the concept of reflection and importance of reflective practice at workplace.
Today’s session helped me to:
- understand the principles of NA Programme
- memorize a few tips for reflection, such us:
- Get into the habit of reflection
- Think about the time, when you avoid reflection
- Identify what you are good at, and which areas need improvement.
KSBs addressed:
K2: Understand the demands of professional practice and demonstrate how to recognise signs of vulnerability in themselves or their colleagues and the action required to minimise risks to health
K3: Understand the professional responsibility to adopt a healthy lifestyle to maintain the level of personal fitness and well-being required to meet people’s needs for mental and physical care
K4: Understand the principles of research and how research findings are used to inform evidence-based practice
