Hi there! My name is Hannah L. Brown, and I am a Food and Nutrition major with a concentration in Dietetics at Bluffton University in Ohio. Originally, I am from a small town in Ohio called Willard, but I’ve always had that big dream to study abroad in England, which is why I was so quick to jump at this opportunity. This summer I will be taking the class, Media, City, and Cultural Capital, through the University of Roehampton, and I could not be more excited. Although this media class is not directly linked to my major, it is rare to find an occupation that does not use media nowadays. I plan to use this course as a way to develop my social networking skills, which will benefit me in my future career. I also plan to let this experience take my taste buds on a journey that they have never been on. With this blog, I also intend to find my personal connection within each of the sites the class visits, as well as find the religious connection within the form of media, if it displays one.
