We were given a very informative talk by Kornelia Cepok who is the Froebel archivist, she was very accommodating and didn’t assume we knew a great deal about how archives work which was incredibly useful as I have never had access to archives before. Being informed on how to use the archives on campus and how to access them was an incredibly useful experience. I was intrigued to discover what was available to be viewed in the archives that we have on campus. The amount of different resources that are available made me think that for my project I might look into an individual or the education of women as a whole to be able to see what I can discover in the archives, and then implement into my work. I am still struggling with how to really utilize the material in the archives but with the help of the archivists on campus and with experience I am sure it will swiftly become second nature.
