COPE guideline Update event held by SWL, 12/11/2022, Certificate
I was in a session with doctors and nurses sharing some recent updates on managing COPD symptoms. Through this session on helping people with long-term illnesses COPE, how often treatment needs to be reviewed, and careful planning needed to be in place and agreed upon by patients.
The session also highlighted the NICE guidelines, gold guidelines, and SWL guidelines. It covers knowledge about pMDI, ICS, beneficial using pMDI relievers, and preventer inhalers. Moreover, it also shows the NICE guideline, on how to start the initial treatment; if not able to control the system, ICS needs to be prescribed to achieve better control.
It also covers LABA + LAMA combination inhaler- Long lasting Bata analogies which help patients minimize their activity in daily living. If possible medication still has no effect on patients,
It also mentioned NICE: triple therapy recommunication, which is very useful for users to have a safety guideline to flowing, personalized COPD control care plans for patients with LTC.
I gained knowledge in LABA, LAMA, pMDI, ICS, pDMI with spacer, a great start for me to follow and start my research on Asthma and COPD.
I need to familiarise the NICE guidelines
Very informative and useful session.
