IWBs are a key feature in most, if not all classrooms now. My personal experience with them hasn’t been the best.

Most of the time I’ve been told “oh you can’t write on the board as it doesn’t work” or “the board never works it’s a waste of time.” To have such a negative experience is a real shame.

During the session it was really beneficial to see how you can  use the IWB and it’s not just a presentation tool.

The activity toolkit was really interesting and I was surprised at how many resources it had. After this session I am looking forward to putting what I have learnt into practise on placement and when I have a teaching position.
