My personal observations between The Catholic and The Protestant

The fact still remain that up till now the views of roman catholic  church and the protestant church when it comes to the Bible  are miles apart to that of the views of the Protestant, they have different perspectives in their understanding of the Bible, Their styles of governing church authority are quite different., Catholics believed in the Bible and they still hold unto the  traditions of the Catholics. In the case of the protestant their only major focus is all about the Bible as the only source of authentic authority that has to be adhere strictly to. Pope in the  Catholic setting is  more or less their semi god, Pope remain the highest authority, meanwhile , the protestant do not consent to Pope authority. In Catholic  in hey  believed in their Sacrament by identifying seven sacrament. Eucarist, Penance, Holy orders, Matrimony, Baptism, Confirmation, Anointing of the sick.

Catholics way of interpreting the Bible is through magisterium( Teachings authority , who they believed has the grace to interprete  the bible. The protestant only believe individuals has the grace to interprete the bible.

Up till now the Catholics believed in purgatory. The protestant didnt believe in such at all.

  1. My observations are, despite the fact that their are differences in these Churches. We cant rule out up till now that the presence of God is so real and edible in both Churches and they are doing great exploit regardless of any differences between them.

  2. Interesting post here Felix. Again, you point out the ramifications of each church’s (Catholic and Protestant) view on the relationship between the Bible and the institution.
