3. Initial Question – One week later 07/11/16

Today, marks a week since I posted my initial question on Padlet and Facebook, asking my facebook friends the question – What are you ideas on how children learn to count?

Unfortunately, within this week I have not had any responses.  This led me to think…

Q- Could having no responses, indicate that my Facebook friends have not been able to access Padlet?

Q- Perhaps they just didn’t know what Padlet is?

Q-  Perhaps they did not understand why I was asking the question?

Q- I do not have any teacher friends on Facebook, so perhaps my Facebook friends did not understand my question?  or know how to answer it?

To look into this further, I have changed the phraseology of my question on Padlet – How would you teach a child to count?…and what resources would you use?    and I have re-shared it on Facebook.  I have also asked my Friend Charlotte, to share my link with her Facebook teacher friends, and my Lecturer offered to share it with her teacher friends.

Also, I have posted my question onto my main Facebook profile page.

This now means I have been able to share my question in three-ways, via Facebook question, Padlet on my Facebook, Padlet on Charlotte’s Facebook and with my Lecturers’ friends.

It will be interesting to see whether I now get any responses, and if so, which is the most popular.

I am hoping that by this time next week, I will have some good ideas about how others may teach children to count.

…my fingers are crossed!!
