Session Plan 4

Related to theory:

  • Spatial continuity principle, segmented principle, pre-training principle, multimedia principle, personalization principle

 

 

S – activity is focused, to a specific goal, in association to pre-training principle of previous interaction in session 1, session 2 and session 3.

M – Good behaviour, listening and active participation.  Quiz shows individual scores as they progress through the quiz and at the end it shows their overal score and/or all participants score

A – (2014a, 2014b) these targets are achievable, as they visually keep attention, interest and motivation, due to competition, especially if there is a prize at the end

R – (DfE, 2014a, 2014b) this activity can be taken at the pupils own pace, however, if this activity is run with the whole class together, then it might extend the length of the overall exercise, unless pupils answer in a quick time frame.  This quiz can also be tailored to pupils needs, as questions can be adjusted to individual learning ability and/or requirements.

T – this activity can be completed in a short time frame, dependent upon pupils individual learning, speed and ability.

  • Pupils to work independently, at home or at school
  • Further independence encouraged
  • Prefer not using the Padlet blackboard from session 2
Teacher/ Parent: Pupils:
  • To further encourage independence and creative thinking.
  • Child needs to do this activity by them-self.
  • If find it really difficult, then provide gentle support and encouragement.
  • Can assist child in accessing the quiz, if required.
  • To work and think independently.
  • To self-motivate, if find it difficult
  • Can use the Padlet blackboard from session 2 for help.
