Ensure confidentiality is maintained.

Every trust has it own values that they practice and one of this is patient first, care and safe. For example if I am administrating medication in for a cardio patient and if in that same ward another patient wants  a cup of tea, I will ask the patient to wait for a bit and then after administrating the medication, will then get  cup of tea for the other patient.

Another instance will if you are in bay and a confused patient who is bedbond and trying to get out from bed will have to prevent the patient from getting out from bed than to attend to another patient who wants their bed sheets to be changed.

For safety and security you will have to always prioritise patient whose request needs urgent attention.​
