My idea for e-learning activity is to see if e-learning tools other than PowerPoints can be used in an Art class as an activity. My e-learning activity will be focusing at KS1 and KS2 in their art classroom.

The subject content for KS1 and KS2 pupils in their art class would be for them to be able to use a range of material creativity to design and make products to express their ideas, experience and imaginations with the help of drawing, painting, sculpturing, using different techniques like colour pattern. They teach about the work of a range of artists, craft makers and designers, describing the differences and similarities between different practices and disciplines, and making links to their own work.

Use of e-learning in Art can be that it is very stimulating and can lead onto a great variety of activities. Teachers can help plan a lesson with help of internet where they can show children with different types of techniques and look at various types of artist.

For my e-learning activity, I will be Planning my session by first making a lesson plan which will be in a from of a video. I will be creating my videos on different topic of art, to do that I will be creating my videos on a web based video creating tool PowToon. I will be focusing my videos on colours how you can create different types of colours, materials that can be used for different types of techniques.

After each video based learning session I will have a short activity to see how much of knowledge. This link with what I want to do for my e-learning activity as I want to create an art quiz based activity for children to help them learn better. The tool that I have decided to use for this activity is Kahoot!. It is a web based learning tool where students can study various topics through flashcards, speller, tests and more. Kahoot! uses playful and colourful graphics and audio to increase the engagement of children.
