This session was very interesting, though it made me realize how little I know about the features of an IWB! Exploring all the features, the possibilities are endless, though I think I’ll spend a lot of time Googling how to do a lot of things in order to make the most out the software, once I start teaching.
During the lecture, I created a simple slide asking children how many ways we can make 67p. I had a range of coins at the bottom of the screen and utilized the cloning feature so that they could use as many of each type of coin as they wished. I can see the use of this feature particularly in Maths, with the cloning of numicon shapes, for example.
I can’t wait to find out about all the other great features the IWB software has to hold!
