Entry 13
Introduction:
The goal for this week was to create a presentation of primary research on a real character. I chose to focus my research on Keir Starmer.

Conclusion:
It was interesting, to gather information on someone I know and have interacted with. Especially considering the previous task and how I knew I would be developing a character based on him in the future. It was somewhat surreal. It was really early on doing this research that I realised what I wanted to focus on in the future. I wanted to focus on a what-if kind of scenario. What if Keir Starmer had decided not to go into politics and continue as a lawyer. This is something I have been considering using as a stepping stone for the development of the fictional character. It was also interesting discovering more information about his previous work and childhood considering I think it would work really well as part of the fictional version’s backstory. I am looking forward to creating a character based off of Keir in the near future.
