A quick history lesson….
The second half of the 20th century Bulgaria was unanimously ran by the totalitarian socialist Bulgarian Communist Party (BCP). With The Fall of Nations and the Eastern Bloc in 1989, Bulgaria was meant to transition into a democratic multi-party republic. This was a new dawn for the Bulgarian people as the socialist regime was over after 40 long years of cruel reign. However, the BCP now renamed Bulgarian Socialist Party won the first 1990 democratic elections which in turn was deemed controversial and the result of corruption and fabrication of vote ballots. On the 29th of November 1990 a million outraged people took it to the streets of Sofia in what is known to be the biggest protest ever recorded in Bulgaria…The 1990s saw a decade of political engagement especially from the youth fighting for a better future.

III decades later…
It is 2020 now and Bulgaria is a lot of more different then it was back then
…or is it? Lets make a list :
Corrupted politicians√ Yes we still have those.
Lack of trust in national parliament √ Yep this one checks out as well.
People fighting for justice …. Nope , this one it seems like we’ve lost!
