Learning log
Today we looked at reflection and how it is good to look back and reflect on our practices to improve in the future. We looked at how to read an academic paper and the layout to know what to look for in the future when referencing essays. Working in teams we completed a group presentations on Professionalism, The NMC code and Accountability we gained an insight on how all these subjects relate to each other when working in nursing. To end the day we looked at different types of learning styles (VARK) V – Visual, A – Aural/Auditory, R – Read / Write, K – Kinesthetic. Knowing how we learn best will enable us to succeed. I am a Visual learner who learns best when I have written words in front of me, I am also a kinesthetic learn who retains skills when I physically do them.
