Title: Cardiovascular System and Bloods
What?
Learning about the cardiovascular system and the blood
So what?
Learning about the different parts and fuctions of the cardiovascular system and how the blood works alongside the body system. Learning about the different pathologies of the heart.
Now what?
Learning about the cardivascular system and the blood has helped create a further understamding of how I am able t support my patients as a Nursing Associate and what are the symptoms that the patient is presenting when they are feeling unwell.

Title: Moving and Handling & P.P.E
What?
Learning of the importance of appropriate manual handling skills and the importance of using P.P.E in the clinical setting
So what?
The importance of being up to date on ones Manual Handling skills can help with being able to appropriate support the patient and following the different polcies and legislations such as LOLER when using manual handling equipment and appropriately using them to help with a patients mobility. The importance of using Personal protective equipment is necessary as this can help reduce the chances of reducing the transmission of bacteria which helps highlight infection control and aeseptic techniques are important when dealing with patients.
Now what?
By applying Manual Handling skills and P.P.E equipment as a Nursing Associate, this can help implement the necessary clinical skills and has developed their importanc during the transional process from the responsibilites of a Healthcare Assistant to a Nursing Associate.
