What?

Learning about the renal system and what it does

So what?

The infomration about the renal system has helped broaden my understanding of how some parts of the cardiovascular system is invovlved i.e Inferior and Superior Venae Cava and how they are connected with the kidneys on the nephrons

Now what?

What I have learned with the renal system is how the pathologies are being explained and how relevant they are to the patients I am looking after i.e brain injury patients with kidney dysfunctions. The session has given some clarity on how to support my patients but also there are some key points I should look into to develop my understanding.

So what?

Multidisciplinary experiences has given an  insight into the different health care professionals involved in a patients care.

Now what?

Learning from the variety of experiences of the multidisciplinary team, which holds different healthcare professionals. The support and care they provide will vary drastically depending on the autonomy of the patients they are looking after. This can be patients in Oncology, Mental health and people in a general care practice.
