Today I met with the student placement manager. Who showed me around the centre and introduced me to the relevant staff that I will be working with on regular basis during my 8 weeks placement. The manager told me most of the relevant information that I needed to know about the Centre.

The Children’s Centre is a specialist setting supporting all families in Wandsworth with children aged 0 to 5 years with disability, special needs or complex medical needs.

During my meeting with the manager, I observed a stay and Play session, which involves parents and children working alongside an early years practitioner and play therapist “what a great collaboration” I feel privileged and am looking forward to working with such a great team.
