Diary of Learning activity
During today’s class in the morning we spent time with Angela, we spoke about the digestive system. We started the day drawing the system in a peace of paper to see if we all new exactly how the system is composed. I like Angela’s classes because she connect theory to practice and she explains in details problems that we saw in the wards without probably knowing what it was exactly. After the tea break we split in 3 groups and with play doh we were asked to create parts of the system and explain them. I enjoy the group activities because we have the opportunity to share with each other our experiences and collaborate together. Before to start the second class we collected our university uniforms but we had to send them back because they were the wrong ones. The afternoon session was with Colin and we talked about observations and NEWS2. After a bit of theory we moved to the ward area and practiced performing observations on each other and on the mannequins and we had to the describe the case and understand what was the issue occurring and wealso had to record the news in the charts. I think it was a good day of learning because now I will bring back more knowledge to my practice.
