Title of learning activity: Communication / Ethical and Legal Considerations for Nursing Associates

During today’s class we spent time with Maria, we started the day having a general conversation regarding the course. We asked some questions and she clarified some things that weren’t clear regarding the assignments and the exam. Before to start the topic of the day , we received a visit from Jo Rixon and she introduced to us one of the GP’s that support the students during the classes. The topic of the day was communication , we discussed different types of communication and I thought was very good because for the very first time all the class gave great contribution and shared different experiences. I like Maria teaching style because she manages to keep everyone focused and engaged. After Lunch break we spoke about ethical and legal principles in nursing and I thought was great topic because reinforced what we know already from our current position. I thought was another great opportunity for everyone to share experiences. At the end of the teaching session we started asking Maria opinions about the topics that we planning to use for our essays. Overall the day was great and I was very please.
