Diary of Learning activity

During today’s class we spent the day with Colin , was nice to meet him as we haven’t spent time with him in a while. Was a train strike day so we started the class slightly later than normal. Colin introduced us to Mariama which she spent time with us during the morning session to explain how to use the EPAD system. EPAD is the system will have to use during placement to record our learning and I thought that looked a bit complicated and I have taken many notes in order to be able to complete all the tasks accordingly. I think the general feeling of the class was the same, but I am confident we all be ok with it. Overall the morning session was great because now we know how important is to record everything we do on placement. After lunch break we move to the Care delivery module and Colin explained CPR , SBAR we soon moved to the practice area to learn how to perform resuscitation in practice. It was another great lesson learnt and it’s nice to see that we are a very close group of people and we all very supportive to each other.
