Title of learning activity: Critical Thinking / Equality & Diversity
Diary of Learning activity
Today the class was moved from groove house to Mary Seacle building. The first part of the day, we spent time with Maria , she was back from annual leave and we haven’t seen her for a while. We started the day catching up and she answered our questions in regards of the assignment. I think it’s great that she is very supportive and she gave us great advise. After that we carried on with the module and today the topic was Critical Thinking. It is always a pleasure to listen to her lectures , she always involve us and it’s nice to interact one another and share opinions and different experiences. After Lunch break we returned in the class and the day continued with Colin. We received our uniforms and we discussed how we felt about starting placement on Monday. Today’s topic was Equality and Diversity , Colin took over this topic from Maria’s module. I thought was good to hear how different is the perception of everyone on this topic and being a very delicate topic I thought Colin did a great job on keeping it very professional and inclusive. Colin at the end of the class asked us to give him honest feedbacks on what is good and what can improve on the way he teaches us. I thought was a good moment especially after all the topics we discussed during the class. I am exited to start placement on Monday and I am sure everything will go smoothly.
