I found the session on Interactive Whiteboards extremely useful and interesting. They are quite complicated therefore I know I will need a lot of practising and perseverance to really make the most out of them.
Using interactive whiteboards allows children to become active and engaged learners rather than just simply being passive to the teacher. Interactive whiteboards also allow teachers to bring the whole class together in order to deliver structured but fun lessons that hopefully create an enthusiasm for learning!
I plan on practising making my own activities for children and feel it is important that I gather a range of different ideas from various places (youtube, placement) in order to feel confident when thinking of my own games and activities.
I have attached my first interactive activity in this blog… I think some more practise is definitely needed!!!
