Though I have used an Interactive White Board (called an IWB from now on, because…short hand) as well as having some relevant experience using Smart Notebook as a software, this lecture was interesting as it gave us the opportunity to be able to divulge more into the inner workings of it and manipulate it in a way that allows us to use more things to make a lesson far more interesting. For example, with a partner, we were able to create an interactive anagram game centered around the Tudors (with a distinct lack of Jonathan Rhys Meyers), with interactivity to help engage more with the activity. It is something that I may want to use in future lesson planning.
