Validation for my transcreated ads was carried out in multiple ways. For example, accoring to studies, the environment is a main concern for university students (Cuff, 2021), and so emphasising fritz-kola‘s sustainability factor is likely to appeal to this large group and therefore produce more sales.

For my second transcreation, research exploring students’ opinions on British politics was undertaken, with some studies revealing that ever since COVID-19, 50% of students in the UK have become more political, while 63% did not believe government acting in their best interests (Lowe, 2020). To be doubly sure that students would understand the instance in Parliament to which the second transcreation refers, I asked a sample of British students, 100% of whom knew to which instance the ad referred.
