‘Aoife has settled into the ward well and is already very knowledgeable. She is always prepared to help out with anything. She has an amazing future as a nurse ahead of her!’

‘Aoife is a very confident student nurse. She knows how to comfort her patients and is very calm with them. She goes at their pace and does not rush them. Aoife is mindful of her patients dignity and does well to uphold this. She is very helpful and eager to learn and works within the limits of her competenices. Also she is not afraid to ask for help when needed. I can see she will be a great nurse when she qualifies.’

‘Working alongside Aoife during the first year of our training has been great and I have learned a lot from her. Aoife is very knowledgeable and is always supportive to her peers. For the past three weeks I have been working with Aoife in our group during our simulated placement, during this time she has made great contribution to our groupwork. Aoife is an outstanding team player and takes pride in everything she does. She is very organised and always maintains professionalism. It has been a great pleasure of mine to have met Aoife and I look forward to studying with her for the next two years.’

‘Having met Aoife before on my first placement I was looking forward to meeting her again and working alongside her! Aoife is friendly and approachable; she engages well with all the topics discussed and works well as part of a group. Aoife and I paired up as part of the simulation, in which we worked well together. We also practiced our skills together in the afternoon, Aoife was very knowledgeable about her skills, and I enjoyed learning with her.
